Sandro Soldarini, born in Piedmont in 1978, is one of Italy's best-known fly fishermen today. He developed a deep passion for fly fishing at an early age, which initially began as a hobby but soon developed into a serious sporting career. Sandro has made a name for himself not only in Italy but also at international level thanks to his outstanding successes. With six national fly-fishing championship titles and impressive placings in international tournaments, including six European championships and eight world championships, he has earned himself a permanent place in the fly-fishing world.

But Sandro is not only an extremely successful participant in fly fishing competitions. The experience he has gained, the numerous contacts and the friendships he has made around the world have inspired him to embark on a new mission: he wanted to develop high-quality, innovative products that would inspire both professional and amateur fly fishermen. This desire gave rise to the company Soldarini Fly Tackle (sft) in 2008. Sandro set himself the goal of translating his expertise and the high demands he himself placed on his equipment into products that excel in terms of quality and functionality.
