A dubbing loop tool is an extremely useful accessory and almost indispensable when tying modern fly patterns with dubbing loops. Once you have doubled your tying thread and inserted the desired material, the dubbing twister allows you to twist the loop quickly and evenly. This creates a compact and durable dubbing rope that can then be wrapped neatly around the hook. Dubbing loop tools are available in different versions. To make the best use of dubbing twister you have to double the tying thread, inside which you can insert: dubbing, CDC, Buck Tail, etc. ... Once this is done the dubbing twister will allow you to twist the doubled tying thread with the fly tying material inside, creating a compact cord that will then be tied on your hook.
