HYDROPSYCHE S’S’A

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The HYDROPSYCHE S’S’A was designed to meet the needs of those who practice streamer fishing for large predators such as trout, asp, and other similar species. The 9’3’’ length represents an ideal balance between power and handling, making the rod particularly suitable for sea trout fishing from the shore. The acronym S’S’A in fact summarizes the three main contexts for which the rod was developed: streamer, sea trout, and asp.

ACTION AND PERFORMANCE

The action is powerful and sensitive, designed to withstand long fishing sessions where frequent and quick casts are required. The structure allows for long and accurate casts, with a snappy recovery that perfectly supports the active search techniques typical of asp and sea trout fishing.

COMPONENTS

The handle is a black EVA full wells with fighting butt, designed to offer a solid grip and comfort during fights. The guides were carefully selected: the first two are double-foot SIC to ensure durability and smoothness, while the rest are snake guides, a solution that reduces line friction and stabilizes vibrations during the cast. The black anodized aluminum reel seat stands out for its minimal design and elegant look, in line with the rod’s modern style.

FUNCTIONAL DETAILS

A practical feature is the marking one meter from the handle, useful for quickly measuring the caught fish without needing external tools. The rod comes with a hard tube with internal dividers, ensuring protection and organization during transport.

RECOMMENDED USE

This model is intended for those seeking a specialized tool for streamer fishing targeting large trout, for sea sessions from the shore in search of sea trout, or for asp fishing using fast retrieve techniques and long-distance casts.
