SOLDARINI HYDROPSYCHE PREDATOR PIKE

BUILT FOR PIKE AND OTHER BIG PREDATORS

The new HYDROPSYCHE PREDATOR PIKE by Soldarini Fly Tackle is the logical evolution of the proven Hydropsyche Pike model – a modern, no-compromise predator fly rod developed specifically for targeting pike, zander, catfish, and other large predators. With its powerful action, slim yet highly durable blank, and contemporary design, it delivers exactly what demanding predator fly fishers need: maximum control, high precision, and absolute reliability – even under the toughest conditions.

FULL POWER FOR CASTING & FIGHTING

At 9 ft (275 cm) in length and rated for line class #10, this rod is built to handle heavy fly lines and bulky pike streamers. The four-piece unsanded blank is made from a cutting-edge blend of CX Full Carbon and Graph Carbon, giving it impressive recovery speed and excellent energy transfer on the cast. You’ll be able to deliver your streamers with control, precision, and distance – even in windy conditions. Despite all this power, the rod feels surprisingly light in hand, making long sessions at the water much more comfortable. During the fight, it offers strong backbone and the right cushioning to land hard-fighting predators safely and efficiently.

PRACTICAL FEATURES & FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

From the tip ring to the rear end, every detail of the HYDROPSYCHE PREDATOR PIKE is designed for functionality and durability. The Full Wells handle is made from EVA foam for a secure grip in all conditions – even with wet hands. Both ends of the rod handle are reinforced with rubber cork for added protection and longevity. The sturdy EVA fighting butt helps you apply pressure during the fight, enabling you to land big fish quickly and in control. The black anodized aluminum reel seat with elegant carbon spacer holds even large reels securely. Durable stripping and snake guides withstand the pressure of strong fish and ensure smooth line flow.

A clever extra feature: the blank includes a printed 1-meter marker that lets you quickly estimate fish length – especially helpful if you want to safely release your catch right after a quick photo. The rod comes in a practical Cordura rod tube with carry strap, ideal for safe storage and transport.

The HYDROPSYCHE PREDATOR PIKE is a modern, high-performance predator rod packed with clever features – perfect for anglers who regularly fish big streamers for big fish. Tough, lightweight, and stylish – the perfect fly rod for your predator setup!
