Hotfly waders stand for top quality, reliability, and durabilitydesigned in the heart of the Alps, made for fly fishers who need gear they can depend on.

Each model of Hotfly waders is designed and tested in South Tyrol and only goes into production if it withstands the harsh conditions of alpine rivers and creeks.

To ensure long-lasting waterproofing and performance, Hotfly designers rely on four core principles:

  • As few seams as possible, since leaks in waders usually occur at the seams.
  • No traditional stitching, but thermosealed fabric overlaps – much more durable and secure.
  • Technical high-performance fabrics from Japan, built to be tough, flexible, and comfortable to wear.
  • Strict quality control, including a waterproof test on every single pair of Hotfly waders before it leaves production.

Hotfly offers three lines of breathable waders – all with the same high waterproofing standards:

  • Alpine Diver: The top-tier model, for experienced and demanding anglers, offering maximum durability and performance.
  • Passion: Designed for regular use, lighter in construction with simplified features.
  • Essential: Simple yet high-quality Hotfly waders for purists – no frills, just function.

A special feature of the Hotfly brand is that some wader models can be quickly converted from chest waders to waist waders.

Compared to well-known brands like Guideline, Vision, JMC or Frogg Toggs, Hotfly waders stand out for their exceptional reliability. After more than ten years of experience with the brand, we at 1000flies confidently say: models like the Alpine Diver perform on par with Simms or Patagonia – but at a much more attractive price. The reason? Hotfly focuses on function, not marketing.

Another great plus: repairs and service are handled directly by us in South Tyrol (Italy) – fast, easy, and professional.
