The EXA 690 fly fishing reel of the hotfly superb has been designed for the beginner who wants to start with a suitable equipment without having to change it after the first year of use. The frame of the EXA 690 reel is made of anodized aluminum, machined with CNC machines from a single block. The large arbor spool (large diameter) greatly reduces the memory effect of the fly line and facilitates long casts. The sensitive adjustment of the clutch allows fishing with very thin tips and is suitable for fly fishing in local waters on trout, graylings, etc.. The reasonable price makes it a fly fishing reel accessible to everyone.
Our hotfly superb fly reels are made of the best aluminium alloys and are therefore very light and at the same time quite robust. Most of the models are "large arbor" type (with a large spool diameter) equipped with a reliable clutch and a series of high-end ball bearings.
