The CMA 590 EDITION is perfect for freshwater fly fishing for trout and grayling. Machined from a single block of 6061-T6 aluminium using CNC-controlled machinery, this reel is light and strong while the final anodising protects it from corrosion.
The spool has a medium diameter and manages to significantly reduce the memory effect of the fly line while keeping the size of the reel very compact. Thanks to a reduced memory effect, your casts will always be clean and precise. The 2/3 size is the smallest and is perfect for modern nymph fishing, with long fly rods and light fly line.
The clutch is very reliable, thanks to the carbon discs that allow you to make precise adjustments so that you can safely handle even the most energetic fish. The knob for adjusting the clutch is slightly oversized for easy adjustment even by those with large hands.
