The EXA 690 EDITION is another excellent reel produced by Hotfly, with excellent technical and aesthetic characteristics, perfect for dry fly fishing, modern nymph fishing, classic nymph fishing and streamers fishing in freshwater.
This fly fishing reel has been machined from a single block of 6061-T6 aluminium by CNC machining. The final anodisation of the aluminium offers excellent protection against corrosion and wear over the long term.
The carbon disc clutch is very reliable and allows you to make precise adjustments to handle even the most energetic fish without the risk of breaking the leader. The clutch knob is slightly oversized to allow quick and easy adjustment even for those with large hands.
The large arbor spool greatly reduces the memory effect of the fly line, thus facilitating long casts, and a large spool diameter allows you to have a higher retrieve ratio allowing you to bring the fish to shore faster than with smaller diameter spools.
Easily convertible right/left for left and right handed anglers. Spare spools available for purchase separately.
