FLY RODS BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH FROM SHIMANO

WHETHER CLASSIC NYMPH FISHING OR MODERN EURO NYMPHING. WITH THE BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH FLY RODS YOU HAVE THE PERFECT FLY RODS FOR ALL ANGLING TECHNIQUES.

The BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH fly rods from Shimano were developed specifically for fly fishing with the nymph. All models are deliberately kept a little longer. The longer lever of the fly rod allows you to better control the drift of the nymph.

The individual models have been specially adapted to the different techniques of nymph fishing.

For modern euro nymphing with ultra-thin fly lines or monofilament lines, the two models in the lighter line classes are suitable:

9'8" (295 cm), line class #2, 3-piece
10' (305 cm), line class #3, 3-piece

For fly fishing with the nymph on the classic fly line, the model:

10' (305 cm), line class #5, 3-piece

has been designed. This allows you to successfully offer your nymph even at greater distances. The longer length of the fly rod also helps you when mending the fly line.

The high modulus full carbon blanks of all models of the BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH fly rods benefit from Shimano's exclusive carbon fibre technologies such as HPC, Nano Sheet and Diaflash. On the one hand, this results in very sensitive rod blanks. Every movement and touch of the nymph is transmitted to the handpiece. You can feel whether you are actually offering your nymph close to the bottom. And above all, you will never miss a bite anymore. Not even the slightest twitch. On the other hand, the slightly longer blanks remain very light. So they can be optimally balanced for fatigue-free fly fishing.

All BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH fly rods are equipped with a milled uplock aluminium reel seat with generous cut-outs and dark inlay. The rod handle is made of Powercork. In addition, a fighting butt can be screwed in. This allows a comfortable support of the fly rod on the forearm when guiding the nymph. The high-quality equipment is rounded off by single leg running guides as well as a guide ring with SIC insert. A practical hook keeper for attaching the nymphs has also been thought of. The BIOCRAFT XR FLY NYMPH fly rods are supplied in a velvet case and a hardcase rod tube.
