Thanks to this guide the thread will come out from the top of the reel, avoiding any kind of friction that could curl the thread during the fight with the fish. The ring is made of polished stainless steel and has a large diameter (7.5mm) that allows you to cast your nymphs quickly, minimizing the friction of the thread on the ring. Luckybur's LINE GUIDE is an accessory designed for those who want to practice european nymph fly fishing style with its semi-automatic reel vivarelli standard. Robust and resistant, this accessory is applied by pressure between the two rollers present in the lower part of the reel and is used to prevent the thread from getting stuck at the ends of the rollers, which is very frequent especially if very thin threads are used. The KNOB and LINE LOCKING are designed to improve the performance of your standard vivarelli semi-automatic reel. These accessories are mounted directly on the original spool of your vivarelli by means of the special screw and thanks to the KNOB you can be much more precise in the recovery of the fly line, also taking full advantage of the reel drag. EURONYMPH
SIMPLICITY, MINIMALISM AND EFFECTIVENESS
Euronymph fishing is relatively simple, minimalist and extremely effective. Unlike traditional fly-fishing, when Euronymphing you do not use the classic fly line but rather a mono line. At most, ultralight fly lines with a diameter of 0.55 mm are used.
This tackle setup offers you the advantage of almost weightless lines, that do not hang slack and are easy to keep completely out of the water. This way your line is totally unaffected from currents and obstacles as only the tippet and your nymphs are immersed. This allows you to always have direct contact to your nymphs at all times. Moreover, your nymphs will drift as naturally as possible along the river bottom where most of the fish hold.
The main advantage over classic nymph fishing is that you have perfect control of the drift through direct contact with the nymphs and can feel even the most delicate takes immediately and reliably.
