The REMOVABLE FLY ROD RING prevents the thread from creating an excessive loop between the first original rod ring and your hand.
When you practice european nymph fly fyshing style only with nylon, having a loop very close to the handle allows you to pick up the thread much faster after you've cast the nymphs. This guarantees you greater effectiveness especially when fishing at short distance because it allows you to have contact with the nymphs in the shortest possible time.
The removable and adjustable fly rod ring should be placed at a distance of about 20/25cm from the end of the cork handle. Its diameter is 7.5mm and is made of polished stainless steel mounted on a sturdy plastic support. It is valid for most european nymph fyshing rods from #3 to #5, any length from 8.6 to 11 feet.
Inside the package you will find a SILICONE RING which is inserted after the first original rod ring and is used to lock the armrest nymph while you are not fishing. This avoids annoying tangles when moving from one spot to another.
ASSEMBLY:
Insert the clip on the rod near the first original ring and then slide it down (thicker part) in the position indicated on the product image. It is recommended to remove the REMOVABLE FLY ROD RING once you have finished fishing.
