The HOLOGRAPHIC FIBERS 1.6 MM from Textreme are wide, flat synthetic fibers featuring an intense laser‑based holographic effect. With their strong light reflection and generous width of 1.6 mm (1/16"), they deliver maximum visual volume – making them ideal for large streamers, tube flies and pike patterns.

MAXIMUM VISIBILITY FOR STREAMERS & PREDATOR FLIES

This wider version of the popular tying material is designed specifically for flies targeting large predatory fish. Whether used as shimmering body material, a flash accent in the tail section or as a striking highlight, HOLOGRAPHIC FIBERS 1.6 MM generate strong visual triggers and combine perfectly with other synthetic fibers or natural materials such as bucktail. The wide fibers add not only shine but also structure and volume to the fly.

Thanks to their high light output, these fibers are ideal for bold and provocative streamer patterns – especially in murky water or when fishing predator flies deep. They are equally well suited for tube flies, delivering targeted impulses when fishing for pike, huchen or large saltwater species.
