The HOLOGRAPHIC FIBERS from Textreme are flat synthetic fibers featuring a laser‑based holographic effect. They reflect light in shimmering hues that change depending on the angle of incidence, creating strong visual triggers underwater. With a width of 0.8 mm (1/32"), they are ideally suited for ribbing, body construction and brilliant accents in a wide range of fly patterns.

VERSATILE USE – FROM PERDIGONS TO PIKE FLIES

HOLOGRAPHIC FIBERS are especially valued for tying Perdigon nymphs, where they are used to create eye‑catching, glossy bodies with high attractor effect. They are equally effective in streamers – for example in combination with tails made from marabou feathers – adding lively movement and pronounced reflections. When combined with other synthetic materials, they produce bold patterns with strong appeal to predatory fish.

Thanks to their flat profile, the fibers can be handled with precision – whether used as ribbing, body material or a blended flash component. They also perform exceptionally well in large‑profile flies such as pike patterns, used on their own or combined with other synthetic fibers or natural materials.
