DREAM FLY RODS

In the development of the NT11 rod series, Guideline uncompromisingly uses only the best materials and components currently available. For example, state-of-the-art graphite materials which are also used in the aerospace industry. This naturally also brings a number of remarkable advantages to the construction of fly rods. The most obvious effect is the amazing recovery power and the incredibly crisp and direct action of the blanks, which is achieved through the sophisticated combination of different graphite materials. This allows the development of rods whose blanks are certainly among the lightest and most durable models on the entire fly rod market.

The NT11 TROUT fly rods prove to be excellent all-round rods for fly fishers of all levels. And as the proud owner of a fly rod from the NT11 rod series, you can of course expect a first-class high-end fly rod. These rods are characterised by an outstanding medium-fast action and will impress you with their unsurpassed recovery power. A sensitive and pleasantly light tip, but at the same time powerful enough for precise casts, activating the lower areas of the blank as the load increases. With these progressively working fly rods, every fly fisherman will feel at home, regardless of his casting performance. You can rely on these fly rods in any situation, because their performance increases with the challenge. But you will not only be impressed by their performance, but also by their extremely low weight, because these rods are incredibly light and yet very sensitive. For example, the 9-foot-long model #5 weighs just 71 grams!

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS

NT11 TROUT #4 9': the fly rod model in line class #4 is extremely versatile for dry fly fishing, which can be fished very well with different leader strengths and on a wide range of waters. The smooth, progressive action of the rod ensures that the rod works deeper and deeper as the load increases. This allows you to safely and confidently play and land even large trout on fine leaders. This rod model is not overtaxed by rapid changes in casting speed and the unique material blend of the blank makes for an extremely light yet stable rod.

NT11 TROUT #5 9': in the #5-line class, the NT11 TROUT is a truly great all-round fly rod. Whether dry flies, nymphs or smaller streamers, with this fly rod fly fishing is really fun and casting becomes pure pleasure. The very sensitive tip allows you to present your flies smoothly and make accurate casts at short and medium distances. The slightly stronger backbone in the lower part of the rod compared to the #4 rod of the same series allows you to make perfect and flawless casts even at long distances. In addition, this slightly more semi-progressive action also covers a wider range of possible flies as well as different casting and fishing techniques. You can also land bigger fish with this rod with ease.

NT11 TROUT #6 9': this model is designed for more demanding water and casting conditions. For long casts against the wind, larger flies and big trout in the fight, you will find this fly rod to your liking. For this purpose, this rod has been equipped with a fine Full Wells rod handle and a fighting butt. In addition, the NT11 TROUT has a slightly more accentuated tip action and an even faster recovery.

25 YEAR FIRST OWNER WARRANTY

All fly rods in the NT11 series come with a 25-year first owner warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and/or workmanship. Within the warranty period, which starts from the date of purchase, you are entitled to repair or replacement (at the discretion of Guideline Customer Service) of any damaged or defective parts of your rod. If the rod model is no longer available during this period and/or it is no longer possible to repair or replace the damaged rod part, Guideline will, at its discretion, replace your fly rod with a comparable rod model.

C.A.P T1100 TECHNOLOGY

The ultimate goal in fishing rod design is to build a strong blank, but at the same time make it as light as possible. With conventional manufacturing methods this is always a balancing act, as a rod will break faster the lighter and thinner the blank. On the other hand, the weight of a strongly built rod increases quickly. With the C.A.P T1100 technology, the Guideline company succeeds in squaring the circle. The basis for the production of all fly rods of the NT11 series is 46T carbon fibre with low resin content. This creates feather-light blanks that are very fast and offer you excellent sensitivity. In addition, layers of T1100 graphite are applied to the inside and outside of the 46T material. These have extremely high tensile and compressive strengths and in this way strengthen the rod blank. This clever combination of materials also results in the unsurpassed performance, durability and reliability of the NT11 blanks. The carbon scrim material used has the carbon fibres arranged at different angles to each other (Complex Axial Pattern, C.A.P), which increases the compressive strength of the material, speeds up the rod's recovery and ultimately enhances casting distances. The high-strength graphite reinforced with TORAYCA NANOALLOY® resin prevents damage from external impacts and minimises internal stress and fatigue failure of the material.

For all fly fishers who are not interested in technical details but mainly in the performance of the fly rods, the features of the NT11 blanks can also be summarised very simply: extreme durability, low weight and excellent recovery.
