Description

HIGH-END FLY RODS FOR LARGE SALMONIDS AND STILLWATER

With the NT11 rod series, the rod developers at Guideline show in an impressive way what is possible today in the construction of fly rods through the skilful use of the latest high-performance materials from the aerospace industry. This results in fly rods with impressive properties, because this rod series has the lowest blank weight and at the same time the highest material strength in the entire Guideline rod range and very probably in the entire fly rod market. Another advantage you will notice on your first cast is the extremely fast recovery of these rods. This is all achieved through the clever combination of different graphite materials.

This results in fly rods with a wonderfully pleasant action and a crisp, yet sensitive tip that are simply fun to cast with, as you don't have to constantly concentrate on the perfect timing of the cast. The progressive action allows the rods to continuously work deeper with increasing casting distance and when you need extra power as well as line speed for tight loops and clean casts even against the wind. This makes these fly rods very versatile and easy to combine with many different casts, lines and casting styles.

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS

The fly rods of the NT11 LAKE & ANADROME series are characterised by a medium-fast, progressive rod action that works all the way to the handpiece when needed. This makes them very suitable for overhead casting, which is often used with classic single-handed rods, as well as for water-anchored casts in Scandi and Skagit style. These fly rods were primarily developed for fishing with shooting heads but can also be cast very well with shorter WF lines, such as the Guideline Bullet. According to their length and line class, they can be used equally well for chasing migrating trout, sea trout and salmon, as well as for fly fishing on lakes and reservoirs.

NT11 LAKE & ANADROME 10' #6 14-16 gr/215-245 grains: the perfect fly rod for chasing trout, sea trout and salmon in smaller rivers and with small to medium sized flies. It works great with Guideline's ULS lines in #6/7 (16 gr). The combination with the ULS 6/7 Multi Tip WF line is a great setup for this purpose. Even though it is at the upper weight limit for this rod model, it still copes very well with the 3D Compact Heads in 17 gr weight.

NT11 LAKE & ANADROME 10' #7 17-19 gr/260-290 grains: this model in line class #7 will surprise you with its performance. It is suitable for larger rivers and longer casting distances than its "little sister" in line class #6. At the same time, you still cast very comfortably and persistently in windy conditions and with larger flies. Ideally, you combine this fly rod with a 4D Compact Multi Tip #7/8 SH 19g from Guideline. But it also casts great with the 3D Compact 17gr and 19gr Heads in different densities. If you prefer to fish with a line with an integrated shooting head, the ULS WF Multi Tip in #7/8 (18gr) is a good choice.

NT11 LAKE & ANADROME 10' #8 19-21 gr/290-220 grains: this rod will never let you down! The ultimate single-handed rod for salmon and trophy-sized sea trout. The power this rod unleashes has to be experienced to be understood. Light in the hand, it offers you unimagined possibilities both when casting and when pölaying and landing big and strong fish. It works well with 4D and 3D Compact Series lines in weights from 19 to 21 grams. If you prefer water-anchored casts in the Skagit style, you can also fish this fly rod very well with a 23-gram line.

25 YEAR FIRST OWNER WARRANTY

Guideline provides the fly rods of the NT11 series with a 25-year warranty for the original owner. This covers defects in materials and/or workmanship. From the date of purchase, if any part of your NT11 fly rod is damaged or defective, you are entitled to repair or replacement (at the discretion of Guideline Customer Service) throughout the warranty period. If the rod series is discontinued during this period and/or it is no longer possible to repair or replace the relevant rod part, Guideline will, at its discretion, replace the fly rod with a comparable rod model under warranty.

C.A.P T1100 TECHNOLOGY

Up to now, compromises had to be made in rod construction. Because on the one hand the blanks should be as light as possible, on the other hand anglers rightly expect stable and robust rods. With the NT11 fly rods, Guideline has now succeeded in virtually squaring the circle, because the blanks of this rod series are extremely light and yet incredibly strong. Only the most modern high-performance materials and the best components are used. This starts with the construction of the blank. Here, an unusually high modulus 46T low resin material provides the necessary elasticity to build feather-light blanks that offer you wonderful sensitivity. Inside and out, layers of T1100 graphite give these rod blanks unsurpassed performance, durability and reliability, as this material has extremely high tensile and compressive strength values.

Carbon fibre of the proprietary C.A.P (Complex Axial Pattern) technology, arranged at different angles, enables the lightning-fast recovery that has a positive effect on your casting distance. The different materials are bonded with TORAYCA NANOALLOY® resin, which further increases the durability of this rod series by preventing damage from external impacts and minimising internal stress and material fatigue failure. All these combined innovations in rod making have resulted in the NT11 fly rod series, which clearly stands out from the conventional fly rods on the market due to its extreme durability, low weight and exceptional recovery speed.
