With the NT11 SALINE, Guideline is launching a whole series of first-class fly rods that have been specially developed and designed for fly fishing in saltwater. You will find the right rod for every application in the wide range of models, both on the local coast and in tropical dream destinations. However, this does not mean that they can only be used there. Depending on the model, these high-quality fly rods can also be used excellently in fresh water, for example for streamer fishing on larger rivers, fly fishing for migratory trout and salmon or when chasing big pikes and other large predatory fish.

STATE-OF-THE-ART MATERIALS AND INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION

For this saltwater fly rod series, the developers at Guideline have also used the best materials and most advanced manufacturing technologies currently used in rod construction, which also characterise all other fly rods in the NT11 series. The 46T carbon fibre, for example, has the highest modulus ever used in Guideline fly rods. This results in incredibly light rod blanks that give you a very direct feel when casting and fishing thanks to their high sensitivity. In addition, T1100 graphite with extremely high tensile and compressive strength is used for the blank construction, which, in combination with the TORAYCA NANOALLOY® resin used, ensures unrivalled durability, robustness and reliability of the fly rods. In addition, a special carbon scrim material is used in which the individual layers are laid at different angles to each other (CAP - Complex Axial Pattern). The result is fly rods with a lightning-fast recovery speed, increased casting distance and further improved compressive strength and therefore resistance of the blank to loads in all directions.

EACH MODEL WITH OPTIMISED PROPERTIES

When developing the NT11 SALINE fly rod series, the focus was clearly on maximising performance without compromising neither on the quality of the materials and components used nor the workmanship. Even though the action of each model within this rod series has been finely tuned to the respective area of application, they all have a bending curve in which the centre section and the rod tip in particular work. Added to this is the extremely fast recovery speed. The combination of these characteristics ensures that you can cast very precisely with these fly rods and that they are comfortable enough to cast over long distances without fatigue, even in the high line classes.

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS:

NT11 SALINE 9' #6: a premium rod for inshore sea trout fly-fishing. Incredibly light yet powerful enough to withstand the rough conditions on the coast even on windy days. In freshwater, this rod will inspire you with classic streamer fishing and even with light fly fishing for bonefish on the flats, this rod won't let you down.

NT11 SALINE 9' #7: Very similar to its smaller sister in line class #6 in terms of lightness and comfortable handling, this model boasts an impressive amount of power and recovery speed, making it certainly one of the most versatile models in the series. Confident when fishing for sea trout and sea bass, you will also be able to conquer larger bonefish on the flats.

NT11 SALINE 9' #8: The must-have model if you enjoy fly fishing in tropical climes. The ideal fly rod with sufficient power for bonefish, but also smaller permit and many other exotic species that really get going in the fight. Nevertheless, it is light enough to fire your fly towards the horizon all day long with a #8 line without putting too much strain on your casting arm. On the local coast, this rod easily takes on sea trout and sea bass even in the most adverse conditions.

NT11 SALINE 9' #9: The universal rod for fly fishing on the tropical flats designed for the ideal line class for permit and baby tarpon, but also for big bonefish. Equally great for other exotic dream fish such as peacock bass and golden dorado, where you can utilise all the advantages of this light and responsive fly rod. And this rod can even be used on local waters, as you can easily cast even large and bushy flies when fly fishing for pike with this rod.

NT11 SALINE 9' #10: With this model, you are ideally prepared for almost all situations that you may encounter on tropical waters. This fly rod has enough power to lift large amounts of line cleanly out of the water with a single cast and position it precisely at long distances to target migrating fish. This very powerful model is your ideal companion when fishing for permit, jacks, medium sized tarpon and smaller trevally. Needless to say, this rod will easily handle even the biggest pike on local waters.

NT11 SALINE 9' #12: The perfect model for fly fishing for the top predators of tropical dream destinations. With its exceptional power, it is predestined for confidently fighting and safely landing even large tarpon and giant trevally. It offers you sufficient reserves for even the most persistent and strongest opponents and still offers you a pleasant and great feeling when casting and fishing.

NT11 SALINE 8'6" #14: The ultimate big-game fly rod for all deep-blue fish species that can be defeated with a fly rod. This rod gives you the power you need to take on massive tuna, sharks, sailfish and even marlin. It differs not only in length from all other fly rods in the NT11 SALINE series, but also in the special configuration of the handle, because a matching bluewater style cork handle has been installed here, with the upper handle being 265 mm long.
