Description

EXTREMELY LIGHT TOP CLASS RODS WITH PROGRESSIVE ACTION

When developing the LPX TACTICAL, Guideline focused on two things. On the one hand, the use of the highest quality materials and cutting-edge technology and, on the other, a new definition of state-of-the-art rod action for trout fishing. The LPX TACTICAL has its very own, very precise action, which is progressive, i.e. continuous and becomes noticeable with increasing load on the fly rod.

The action can be described as fast and with excellent recovery speed, whereby the rod also works around ¾ of its length when fully loaded. When casting at shorter distances, the rod tip and middle section provide you with the necessary sensitivity for smooth and precise presentations. At medium and longer casting distances, the lower section of the rod also works to provide enough power and stability that you need when casting at these distances but also when playing larger fish.

These fly rods are extremely versatile and ideally adapt perfectly to all kinds of conditions on the water. The excellent casting behaviour at all distances, the necessary sensitivity to fish even with the finest leaders without any problems and the reassuring power reserves to land even capital fish safely and confidently. At the same time, the LPX TACTICAL are extremely light thanks to the innovative high-performance materials and allow you to enjoy relaxed and fatigue-free fly fishing throughout the entire fishing day.

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS

LPX TACTICAL 9': the 9-foot rods are extremely light, versatile due to their classic length, having less problems in windy conditions with a slightly faster action than the 9'9" long models. The models of line classes #2 and #3 are ideal for fine and light fly fishing with the dry fly and small nymphs on thin leaders. The rods of line classes #4 and #5, moreover, are the first choice for universal fishing with dry flies and nymphs in all types of water. The fly rod of line class #6 offers you enough power to cast well and successfully even in windy situations. Large and heavy streamers, than again, can still be cast and fished very well with the #7 rod, even when fished on sinking lines.

LPX TACTICAL 9'9": the rod models with a length of 9'9" benefit most from the advanced blank technology used in the LPX TACTICAL fly rods. Because of the extremely light blanks, these rods also have a low swing weight, so that the rods do not bounce. In combination with the fast action, you will succeed in casting tight and precise line loops, which ensure long casts without effort. The slightly longer rods offer increased reach and better contact to your fly and control of the drift. These many advantages have resulted in excellent allround rods for dry fly, nymph, Euro nymph and light streamer fishing. The rods in line classes #2 and #3 are ideal for fine fly fishing with dry flies and light nymphs. Their rod tips are super sensitive to reliably protect even the finest leaders from line breakage. The rods in line classes #4 and #5 are extremely versatile and are equally suitable for rivers, lakes and ponds. They are great for fishing with dry flies and nymphs, but also work well with small streamers or Stillwater rigs.

LPX TACTICAL 10': the LPX TACTICAL 10 ft rods are available for line classes #6 and #7 and are designed for fly fishing from a boat, as is traditional on the lakes and reservoirs in Ireland and other areas of the UK. The slightly longer length is very convenient for this type of fly fishing as it gives you a little more line height when sitting in the boat or wading on the bank. These models have a powerful action that makes casting and fishing with long leaders and multiple rigs flies very easy for you.

C.A.P M4.0™ TECHNOLOGY

C.A.P M4.0™ describes the material technology used to manufacture the blanks for the LPX TACTICAL fly rods. C.A.P stands for Complex Axial Pattern, in which the carbon fibres are laid at very specific angles to each other. Carbon fibres arranged crosswise maximise strength and stability in all directions. In combination with a carbon fleece in which all fibres run in a single, parallel direction, maximum strength in the longitudinal direction is also achieved. M4.0 ™ refers to the resin used for bonding the individual carbon fibre layers. The special properties of this resin fill the gaps in the carbon fabric more effectively than normal resins and thus ensure greater strength. At the same time, this also reduces the total amount of resin required, which is what makes these extremely light yet extremely stable blanks possible in the first place.
