Description

SUPER-LIGHT EURO NYMPH FLY RODS

With the LPX NYMPH Guideline presents a first-class rod series for Euro Nymphing, which will convince even the most demanding Euro Nymph angler with its outstanding features and components. When you pick up these rods for the first time, you will immediately notice their incredible lightness for a fly rod of this length. The 10'8" #3 model of this rod series weighs only 78 grams. This is achieved through state-of-the-art materials and sophisticated technologies in the manufacturing process of the rod blanks. In this way, the incomparably sensitive yet fast action that you expect from a high-end Euro Nymph rod can be achieved. The tip is extremely sensitive and transmits every subtle movement of your nymphs as they drift along the bottom of the water. The progressive action means that the rod works deeper and deeper as the load increases, and the blank becomes continuously stronger, so that you have enough power reserves to skilfully and efficiently land even big fish without overloading the finest leaders. The very light blank construction also reduces the swing weight of the rod to a minimum and, together with the fast recovery, the LPX NYMPH gives you unprecedented precision and control in casting your nymphs, even on weightless monofilament lines. When casting and guiding your nymphs, you feel completely connected to this fly rod, as if it is a natural extension of your casting arm. The extremely light feel and fantastic balance that these fly rods give you means that even hours of static Euro Nymph fishing with high sticking will not tire you out, keeping you highly focused and successful throughout the whole day.

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS

LPX NYMPH 10'2" # 3: this model is ideal for Euro Nymphing in small to medium sized waters. It is the most versatile model in this rod series and, in addition to modern nymph fishing, can also be cast perfectly with a conventional fly line in the appropriate line class.

LPX NYMPH 10'8" #3: this fly rod is a pure Euro Nymphing model. The specific characteristics facilitate the handling of all common nymph rigs, the longer reach of the rod allows you to keep direct control of your nymphs in every phase of the drift, even on larger waters.

LPX NYMPH 10'2" #4: this model offers you a significantly higher power reserve for playing big and strong fish. Nevertheless, its sensitive tip offers very good protection against unwanted line breakage even when using the finest leaders.

C.A.P M4.0™ TECHNOLOGY

The LPX NYMPH fly rods also owe their extreme lightness and sensitive, yet fast, progressive action to a further development in the manufacturing technology of rod blanks, which Guideline calls C.A.P M4.0™. Carbon fibre mats are used in which the individual fibre layers are arranged at different angles to each other (Complex Axial Pattern; C.A.P), thus guaranteeing strength and stability in all directions. This carbon layup is combined with nonwoven carbon fibres in which all fibres run in a single direction and parallel to each other. In this way, maximum strength is guaranteed in this direction. A specially developed resin called M4.0™ is used to bond these fibres. Its properties fill the gaps in the carbon fabric much more effectively than conventional resins and result in higher strength. At the same time, however, the total amount of resin required in the construction of the blanks is reduced, which ultimately results in extremely robust fly rods that nevertheless remain incredibly light.
