LITECRAFT NYMPHMASTER 10'6" FLY ROD BLANK

THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUR CUSTOM EURO NYMPHING ROD

With the LITECRAFT NYMPHMASTER 10'6" FLY ROD BLANK from Hotfly, you can build a modern fly rod designed specifically for Euro nymphing. Its length, sensitive tip and reliable power reserves provide the control required for precise nymph presentation on medium-sized and larger waters.

SENSITIVE TIP FOR DIRECT CONTACT

The sensitive tip transmits even subtle takes and small changes in the drift, allowing you to detect strikes quickly and respond immediately. Its 10'6" (320 cm) length also makes it easier to control the monofilament, leader and nymphs at greater distances. This helps you maintain direct contact with the rig and target different currents and depths accurately.

MEDIUM ACTION WITH EXCELLENT POWER RESERVES

The medium action distributes the load smoothly and combines sensitivity with the necessary stability. While the responsive upper section supports precise nymph control, the blank progressively engages further down under heavier loads. This provides the reserves required to fight larger, powerful fish with confidence.

The smooth flex profile also helps absorb sudden peaks in load. This is especially valuable in Euro nymphing, where fine leaders and light tippets are often used.

FOUR-PIECE DESIGN WITH A MATT FINISH

The blank consists of four sections, providing the completed fly rod with a compact transport length. Its lightly sanded surface has a subtle matt finish that reduces unwanted reflections and gives the finished rod a clean, understated appearance.

BUILD YOUR EURO NYMPHING ROD TO SUIT YOUR PREFERENCES

Available separately, the blank allows you to select the grip, reel seat, guides and visual details according to your requirements. When building a Euro nymphing rod, the choice and placement of these components influence the finished rod’s weight, balance and dynamic response. You can also customise the guide layout, thread colours and decorative elements. The four-piece blank is supplied without rod-building components.
