PRECISE, KNOTLESS DESIGN FOR OPTIMAL FLY PRESENTATION

A good leader is the crucial last section of your fly line – and with the TAPERED LEADER CLASSIC, you can achieve precise, natural presentation of your fly. This high-quality, tapered leader made of olive-coloured monofilament ensures even power transmission and perfect unrolling right to the tip. The 9-foot (270 cm) long leader is available with different tip diameters, so you are sure to find the right leader for every type of water and your individual needs.

INCONSPICUOUS WHEN IT COUNTS

With its light olive colouring, this leader is more inconspicuous in slightly cloudy water than a completely transparent monofilament material. Whether after a short downpour, slightly higher water levels when the snow melts or other external factors that cloud the water slightly - in all these situations, this colour variant is more discreet and therefore also catchier.

NO MEMORY EFFECT – IT STRETCHES STRAIGHT AND SMOOTH

A major advantage of the TAPERED LEADER CLASSIC is the high-quality material, which is completely memory-free. This means that the leader unrolls beautifully during the cast and stretches cleanly without forming annoying loops or twisting. This makes casting much easier and ensures precise presentation of the fly.

TAPERED FOR OPTIMAL CASTING

The evenly tapered diameter of the leader guarantees excellent transfer of the casting impulse from the fly line to the fly. This ensures precise casting, a clean stretch of the leader and a gentle, controlled placement of the fly on the water.

These properties make the TAPERED LEADER CLASSIC ideal for delicate fly fishing with dry flies.
