SHUTTLE PLIERSare very popular with fly tiers. They convince by their practicality, in fact you can position and replace the hook very quickly. Simply open the pliers with a simple pressure, insert the hook and release. The grip is very tenacious and will lock your hook very firmly. You can also choose from 3 different types of pliers: Strong, Soft and Rego.

Strong: Ideal to tie artificial flies on very large hooks. It is equipped with an extremely tough grip and is not recommended for use on hooks too small because over the years it could be ruined.
Soft: Ideal for most uses. You can use it to tie dry flies, nymphs and small streamers. Despite the name, even this pliers has a good grip on the hook.
Rego: Ideal for fishermen who tie from small dry flies to large pike streamers. In fact, this pliers can be adjusted and switch from Soft to Strong with a simple gesture.

These pliers can rotate freely 360 degrees and this rotation is moderate through a clutch, also at the sides of the SHUTTLE PLIERS there are 2 brass bushings that are used to move from the work area the bobbin in those moments when you do not need it, to resume it later and continue with the fly tying.

The pliers have been cut from a solid steel plate through an electroerosion process, which does not overheat the metal and preserves the hardening of the steel.

They are mounted on a Standard and Travel base and cannot be mounted on the Pocket model.
