The SHORE LINE fly reel is an excellent reel especially constructed for fly fishing for predatory fish in fresh and salt water. No compromises have been made in the stability of this fly reel. In fact, these reels are milled from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminium. The surface of the fly reels is additionally anodised. The full frame makes the reel very robust, but the material used and the generous milled out areas still make it comparatively light, so that the fly rods for saltwater or predator fishing can be optimally balanced and you are able to cast them accordingly well.
All components of this reel are fully saltwater compatible. This is especially true for the completely encapsulated and thus absolutely waterproof, extremely strong drag system with no less than 6 ceramic discs. You can rely on this outstanding reel drag in every situation, even during energy-sapping fights and long runs of the strongest fish.
The size of the spools is well adapted to the specific use, providing enough capacity for the fly line and sufficient backing. The large spool arbor ensures a high retrieve speed of the fly line. This makes it easier for you to keep contact with the fish and thus control it. In addition, the fly line tends to curl much less and can therefore be cast better and further.
The SHORE LINE fly reel can be quickly converted for both left-handed and right-handed use and is supplied in a neoprene bag. Spare spools are available separately for this fly reel.
