The VIBE 85+ is Vision's best-selling fly line and there are good reasons for this. The surface coating is super-slick and remains so even in warmer conditions, minimising friction on the rod guides so that you can easily cast your flies at longer distances. At 8.5 metres, the head is rather short, but the weight is higher compared to the specified Aftma class, so that you can load your fly rod very well even with a comparatively short line out. This naturally benefits you in all situations where casting space is limited. You also need fewer false casts for casting at longer distances allowing you to be more efficient as you cast less and fish more. In addition, this line is also ideal for all types of roll, switch and spey casts thanks to its compact, heavier weight. This line turns over even heavy nymphs or streamers with ease. Compared to the rest of the line, the front taper is longer so that this fly line can also be casted discreetly without slapping the water clumsily every time, meaning that you can fish this line very well in many different situations. It is therefore not surprising that this fly line is just as at home in fresh water as it is on the coast when fly fishing for sea trout.
This floating fly line is a total of 27 metres long up to line class #5-6 and a total of 30 metres beyond that, as well as two-coloured, with a yellow head and a white running line. The line core is braided and therefore very low stretch, so that the energy of the cast is transferred better and the contact with your flies is very direct and you feel the takes better. It is equipped with a small line loop at the front end so that the leader can be attached very quickly and easily. For better identification, the line ID is printed next to the loop. This line is PVC-free and does not contain any phthalate plasticisers.
