EURO NYMPH PRO FLY ROD COMBO

With the EURO NYMPH PRO fly rod combo, you are perfectly equipped to tackle Euronymphing. Hotfly has put together a perfect combination of high-quality fishing gear that offers you a perfect balance between control, sensitivity and performance. This rod and reel combo is variable, because you can choose between three matching, high-quality fly reels, each with unique advantages, and thus make this fly rod set very individual.

THE FLY ROD AND REEL COMBO CONTAINS:

1 LITECRAFT NYMPHMASTER 10'6’ #3 FLIGHT ROD, designed to give you maximum control over the drift of your flies as well as premium sensitivity.
1 FLIGHT REEL OF YOUR CHOICE from three matching, high-quality models.
1 RIVERSPEED LL TOURNAMENT FLY LINE including BACKING, specially developed for Euronymph style fishing.

THE INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS IN DETAIL

LITECRAFT NYMPHMASTER 10'6’ ROD #3

The LITECRAFT NYMPHMASTER 10'6’ #3 from Hotfly is a fly rod that gives you direct contact and thus absolute control over the drift of your nymphs at all times when Euronymphing. With its length of 10'6", it offers you a longer reach to optimally handle the line even on medium and larger waters. Last but not least, thanks to its outstanding sensitivity, you will feel even the gentlest of tugs, which you can immediately acknowledge with a strike.
The low weight of just 84 grams and the half-wells handle with fighting butt guarantee comfortable handling and additional support during the fight. The anodised aluminium reel seat with cedar burl spacer is designed as a down-locking version, which optimally balances your tackle setup and thus effectively prevents signs of fatigue in the rod arm even during longer fishing sessions.
The snake guide mounted behind the tip ring prevents the ultra-thin fly line or mono line from becoming tangled if it unintentionally wraps around the rod tip. The stripping guide, on the other hand, is positioned deliberately only 25 cm away from the rod handle and allows you to grab the line at lightning speed after the cast and make immediate contact with your nymphs. The rod is supplied with a transport tube with separate inner compartments and a carrying strap.

YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM THESE FLY REELS:

This rod and reel combo gives you the choice of three first-class fly reels, each with special features and outstanding performance. All fly reels included in this combo can easily be converted from left-hand to right-hand retrieve.

1. THE EURO FLY

The EURO FLY is a modern and versatile reel, ideal for both modern nymph fishing and classic fly fishing. Based on the concept of the Euro Fly Pro, but with more compact dimensions, it offers excellent value for money. This reel has the option of using two interchangeable spools (super large arbor for #0/1 lines and large arbor for #2/5 fly lines) so that you can use the same reel for a wide variety of fishing techniques. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the reel is robust and lightweight and has a closed reel frame that reliably holds even the thinnest lines on the spool. With the powerful, very finely adjustable reel drag, even fine leaders can be fished very safely.

ATTENTION: In this combo, the EURO FLY reel is sold with the Euronymph spool only, a #2/5 spool can be purchased separately.

2. EURO FLY CLICK

The EURO FLY CLICK is a light, elegant and versatile reel, perfect for both modern nymph fishing and classic fly fishing. With a weight of only 90 g and the absence of a traditional reel drag, it is the first choice for anyone looking for a lightweight, first-class fly reel. The closed frame allows the use of even the thinnest lines, as these cannot wrap around the reel axle. Equipped with an adjustable clicker drag, it is easy to operate and conveys a classic feel thanks to its characteristic whirring sound. This fly reel as well can be fitted with spools having different line capacities (super large arbor for #0/1 lines and large arbor for #2/5 fly lines).

ATTENTION: In this combo, the EURO FLY CLICK is sold with the Euronymph spool only, a #2/5 spool can be purchased separately.

3. EURO FLY PRO

The EURO FLY PRO is the most powerful fly reel for modern nymph fishing. It also offers the possibility change between two spools with different inner diameters (super large arbor for #0/1 lines and large arbor for #2/5 fly lines), providing unrivalled versatility. The large diameter of the spool reduces the memory effect and allows the line to be retrieved quickly so that you can play the fish perfectly over the reel and take advantage of the reel drag. This latter is equipped with carbon discs and a numbered rotary knob and allows you to precisely and reliably adjust the drag force. The reel was developed in Italy and impresses aesthetically with its blue metallic finish with purple accents.

ATTENTION: In this set, the EURO FLY PRO is sold with the Euronymph spool only, a #2/5 spool can be purchased separately.

RIVERSPEED LL TOURNAMENT FLY LINE

The RIVERSPEED LL TOURNAMENT is a floating fly line specially developed for Euronymph style fishing. With a consistent, ultra-thin diameter of just 0.55 mm, this lightweight fly line does not form a typical line belly, so you can easily maintain direct contact with your nymphs to feel even the slightest take. The highly visible orange and black coloured ends of this line serve as a sighter, while the MSC coating ensures maximum suppleness and minimised friction on the rod guides.
