UNIVERSAL SYSTEM CHEST STORAGE

COMPACT CARRY SYSTEM WITH MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY

The UNIVERSAL SYSTEM CHEST STORAGE from C&F Design is an exceptionally well-designed carry system for fly anglers who want generous storage space, perfect organization and quick access to their flies and tools – all in a compact format.

At the core of the design is the modular C&F Universal System. Prepared foam inserts can be taken directly from compatible fly cases or boat boxes and placed into the UNIVERSAL SYSTEM CHEST STORAGE. This allows you to adapt your fly selection easily to different waters, seasons or techniques without having to reorganize individual flies.

This system really shines when you want to travel light or when you are also carrying a daypack. It offers significantly more storage capacity and organization than a traditional fly patch, while still remaining compact and comfortable to wear.

FOAM CHANGER FOR QUICKLY SWITCHABLE FLY SETUPS

The two shells of the main compartment are foam-lined around the edges and are securely held together by strong magnets. The chest storage can be opened with one hand and folds forward. Ball chains on both sides hold the shells in a stable 90° position so nothing accidentally falls out while accessing your flies.

Inside you will find several foam inserts for organizing your flies. Two large Standard System Foams are positioned on the inner sides of both shells and can easily be exchanged for other compatible C&F System Foams in size L. This allows you to prepare complete fly sets and swap them within seconds depending on the situation. This is particularly useful for anglers who frequently switch between dry flies, nymphs or small streamers, or who already organize their flies using the C&F system.

Additionally, a folding divider panel between the two shells is equipped with slotted foam on both sides and provides space for a large number of additional flies.

PRACTICAL STORAGE FOR ACCESSORIES AND SMALL ITEMS

On each inner side you will also find a narrow fixed foam strip. The rear strip is slotted and fitted with two C&F threaders. On the front side there are three lockable accessory compartments that are ideal for storing small items. Split shot, small strike indicators and other small accessories can be stored safely and neatly here.

MAGNETIC FLY PATCH WITH LINE CUTTER

On the front side there is an Oval Magnetic Fly Patch equipped with eight powerful neodymium magnets. This allows flies to be securely held in place – for example when temporarily storing them, drying wet flies, or when switching frequently between patterns while fishing.

Directly above the fly patch there is also an integrated line cutter, allowing you to quickly and cleanly trim tippet or leader material without needing an additional tool.

INTEGRATED TIPPET HOLDER ON THE BACK

On the back of the chest storage there is an integrated tippet holder. It can hold up to three tippet spools with a diameter of up to 75 mm (3 inches). The tippet runs through guides in the foam so that you can pull out the required amount of material without removing the spools.

The slight resistance while pulling also prevents the tippet from unwinding unintentionally.

COMFORTABLE CARRY SYSTEM WITH SAFETY BUCKLE

The chest storage is worn using a comfortable harness system with adjustable shoulder straps. Additional mounting points for tools and accessories are also integrated here. A built-in safety buckle provides extra security: if excessive force is applied, the buckle automatically releases to help prevent accidents.

A retainer clip is also attached to the bottom of the unit, allowing you to secure the UNIVERSAL SYSTEM CHEST STORAGE to your clothing. This keeps the system close to your body and prevents it from swinging forward when you lean down, for example while landing a fish.

Thanks to its compact design and smart layout, the system remains lightweight and comfortable to wear even during long days on the water.

A WELL-THOUGHT-OUT SYSTEM FOR MODERN FLY ANGLERS

As with many C&F Design products, this carry system impresses with its clear functionality, high-quality construction and extremely practical design. It combines the advantages of a compact chest pack with the flexibility of the modular C&F foam system.

Whether for short sessions, full days on the river or trips where you want to travel light – the UNIVERSAL SYSTEM CHEST STORAGE provides excellent organization, quick access to your gear and maximum flexibility on the water.
