LANYARD WITH UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FLY PATCH

LIGHTWEIGHT LANYARD SYSTEM FOR FLEXIBLE FLY FISHING

The LANYARD WITH UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FLY PATCH by C&F Design is a thoughtfully engineered solution for fly anglers who want to keep their essential tools and flies directly within reach. This practical setup combines a comfortable lanyard with an integrated Universal System Fly Patch and multiple attachment points for accessories.

This system is ideal for anglers who prefer to travel light and minimalist — whether fishing small mountain streams, wading larger rivers, or anywhere you want to avoid carrying a heavy vest or bulky chest pack.

The durable strap is length adjustable, allowing the lanyard to be adapted perfectly to your personal preferences. This ensures a comfortable fit even during long fishing days. In addition, the system features a retainer clip at the front center that allows the lanyard to be attached to a vest, jacket, or shoulder strap. This keeps the lanyard securely positioned against your body and prevents it from swinging forward when bending down, for example when landing a fish or freeing a snag.

FLY PATCH WITH FOAM CHANGER AND 120 SLOTS

The system includes a Universal System Fly Patch in the small size. Inside is a Standard System Foam insert with 5 rows of Micro Slit Foam. A total of 120 slots are available, allowing you to organize a useful selection of dry flies, nymphs, or wet flies neatly and efficiently.

The fine slots securely hold hooks in the foam, while the recesses in front of the slot rows ensure that dry flies with pronounced hackle can be stored without bending the hackle fibers.

Thanks to the integrated Foam Changer, the foam panel can be removed at any time and replaced with other compatible C&F System Foam Sets. This allows you to insert prepared fly selections from a Guide Box, Boat Box, or Universal System Fly Case and switch fly assortments in seconds.

The included fly patch is attached with two snaps, allowing you to quickly replace it with another Universal System Fly Patch or another chest patch if needed.

MAGNETIC CLOSURE AND PRACTICAL DRYING SURFACES

The lid of the fly patch is secured with a strong magnetic closure. At the same time, the housing remains open on the sides, allowing good air circulation so wet flies can dry more quickly.

Additional foam strips inside the lid allow flies to be temporarily inserted without opening the patch — ideal for drying flies or when frequently switching between the same patterns.

PRACTICAL ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT POINTS

The lanyard features several snaps and attachment points where you can hang essential accessories such as nippers, floatant, thermometers, or other tools.

This creates a clean and highly accessible setup where all your essential tools remain directly in front of you.

INTEGRATED TIPPET HOLDER

Another useful feature is the integrated tippet holder. It allows you to carry up to three tippet spools directly on the lanyard. The spools are simply threaded through their central opening onto the holder and remain securely in place.

Depending on the dimensions of the tippet spools, the exact number may vary slightly.

A WELL-THOUGHT-OUT SETUP FOR MINIMALIST FISHING

With its lightweight design and well-organized layout, the LANYARD WITH UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FLY PATCH is an extremely practical solution for fly anglers who want to keep their equipment compact, efficient, and always within reach.
