The CCS CACTUS CLEAR CHENILLE by hotfly is a classic chenille with flash fibres that stick out when tied in. Hence the reference to the cactus in the name. This chenille variant with its transparent fibres is relatively discreet compared to the other Cactus chenilles in the CCS. This chenille is used to add volume to your streamer so that you can form very beautiful silhouettes. The transparent fibres keep the body translucent. The chenille is also suitable for egg flies.

The CCS CACTUS CLEAR CHENILLE is also part of the clever Custom Chenille System (CCS) by Hotfly. With the Fly Tying Marker Felt Pens from Hotfly, all CCS chenilles can be individually and permanently coloured. With a manageable number of different chenille variants and the corresponding pens you get an incredibly wide range of combinations and cover every conceivable need on the fly tying vise.

You can buy each chenille variant and each colour pencil separately, so that you can not only put together your own individual chenille materials in your favourite colours. You also save money with CCS chenille products, as you don't have to buy every chenille in every colour, but simply colour them yourself from now on.
