The CCS JELLY EGG CHENILLE by Hotfly consists of a very fine, compact, cotton wool-like base material from which the longer, reflective fibres protrude. When this chenille gets wet, the fine base material soaks up water, giving it an almost gelatine-like texture. For this reason, this chenille is primarily suitable for egg flies, which, as a result of the special properties of this chenille, not only look very real in the water, but also do not make the fish suspicious when they bite. Therefore, this chenille can also be used for other fly patterns that are supposed to have a corresponding consistency, such as modern stillwater patterns that imitate paste or pellets. However, these properties can also be used with other fly patterns. For example, you can give streamers a lively "bite" with this material.
