EURO NYMPH COMPETITION FLY LINE

The EURO NYMPH COMPETITION fly line from Guideline is an extremely thin, lightweight and uncompromisingly performance-driven level fly line, specifically designed for Euro nymphing and competitive fly fishing. Its purpose is clearly defined: to create a direct, uninterrupted connection between rod tip and flies – ensuring maximum control, clean drifts and highly precise strike detection.

With a diameter of just 0.57 mm, this line complies with FIPS-Mouche regulations for international competition, making it an excellent choice for both ambitious competitors and technically focused Euro nymph anglers.

THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL EURO NYMPHING

In Euro nymphing, control over drift, depth and speed is everything. To achieve this, the fly line must be as light and thin as possible, allowing it to be kept largely off the water during high-sticking – even at longer distances – and ensuring a direct connection to the nymphs.

The ultra-slim construction of the EURO NYMPH COMPETITION minimizes line sag and water resistance to an absolute minimum. The result is exceptionally direct feedback, clean drift control and the ability to detect even the most subtle takes with confidence.

SMOOTH SURFACE & MINIMAL RESISTANCE

The EURO NYMPH COMPETITION is designed as an ultra-thin level line and features a floating PVC coating. This provides smooth, consistent handling while keeping water resistance extremely low.

At its core is a low-stretch braided core rated at 12 lb. This construction delivers outstanding sensitivity combined with reliable strength – exactly what is required for precise nymph fishing under competition conditions.

DUAL-LOOPED – DOUBLE THE LIFESPAN

The line is finished with extra-slim, factory-welded loops at both ends. These allow for fast, clean and hassle-free rigging while offering excellent durability.

A major practical advantage is the dual-looped design: once one end shows signs of wear, the line can simply be flipped and used from the opposite end. This significantly extends the lifespan of the line without compromising performance.

STEALTHY & ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS

With a total length of 28 m, the EURO NYMPH COMPETITION offers ample reach for long drifts and precise presentations. Its subtle pale olive color remains visually unobtrusive on the water, supporting a stealthy approach even in clear conditions and when targeting wary fish.

The coating is 100% phthalate-free and meets modern environmental standards – a conscious choice for anglers who value uncompromising performance alongside sustainability.
