FLUO GLOW CHENILLE by hotfly consists of a phosphorescent (“glow in the dark”) material that can be charged with sunlight or any artificial light source (torch, UV light, flashlight). JELLY EGG CHENILLE by hotfly consists of a very fine, compact, cotton wool-like base material from which longer, reflective fibres protrude. When this chenille gets wet, the fine base material soaks up water, giving it a very interesting gelatine-like texture. For this reason, this chenille is primarily suitable for egg flies. Due to the special properties of this chenille, they do not only look very real in the water, but also give the fish the impression of something chewy when they bite and do not make them suspicious. However, JELLY EGG CHENILLE can also be used very well for other fly patterns that are supposed to have a corresponding consistency, such as modern fishing pond patterns that imitate paste or pellets.
