HOTFLY XXL PREDATOR BRUSH SILVER BLACK BARRED

VOLUMINOUS STREAMERS WITH LIVELY ACTION AND ATTRACTIVE REFLECTIONS

The HOTFLY XXL PREDATOR BRUSH SILVER BLACK BARRED makes tying bulky predator streamers particularly easy and efficient. This material consists of 100 mm long, soft and slightly crimped synthetic fibres attached along one side of a sturdy synthetic backing strip. This allows you to tie in a large amount of material with just a few wraps, without having to position individual bunches of fibres. It is particularly suitable for pike flies and other large freshwater and saltwater streamers.

PLENTY OF VOLUME AND LIVELY MOVEMENT IN THE WATER

Thanks to their soft, slightly crimped structure, the fibres move freely even in a gentle current or during a slow retrieve. They give your streamers a full, lifelike profile with plenty of movement, while changing light reflections further enhance their action. This makes it easy to create eye-catching bodies for large predator streamers that resemble the silhouette of a baitfish.

QUICK AND EASY TO TIE IN

The XXL PREDATOR BRUSH SILVER BLACK BARRED can be worked much like conventional chenille: secure the backing strip to the hook shank and wrap it forward. As you make each turn, sweep the fibres backwards to prevent them from becoming trapped beneath the following wraps. This allows you to create a uniformly bulky streamer body with minimal effort, without loose fibres scattering across your tying bench.

You can also cut individual fibres from the backing strip and incorporate them into other fly patterns. This makes the material useful for adding extra visual attraction to nymphs and other attractor flies.

SILVER-BLACK BARRING AND UV-REFLECTIVE EFFECTS

The distinctive feature of the HOTFLY XXL PREDATOR BRUSH SILVER BLACK BARRED is its silver-and-black cross-barring. The dark sections create strong contrasts, while the silver sections reflect light and add bright highlights. Together, they produce a varied pattern that gives your streamers a lively silhouette with a metallic shimmer.

The fibres also contain UV-reflective components that provide additional visual attraction. Fluorescent colour options, in particular, produce intense colour and reflective effects. The combination of dark barring and silver reflections works well for both contrasting baitfish imitations and particularly eye-catching predator streamers.

Each pack contains 4 brush strips, each measuring 15 cm in length. The individual fibres are approximately 100 mm long.
