THE FIRST GUIDELINE WADER EXCLUSIVELY FOR WOMEN

When developing waders exclusively for women, it was only logical for Guideline to involve its own female ambassadors to ensure that all specific needs were taken into account. The main focus was on the two feel-good factors of comfort and freedom of movement. This is why the LAERDAL waders for women are also available in two different fits, Standard and Queen.

MAXIMUM COMFORT FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE ON THE WATER

But it's not just the fit of a pair of waders that influences their comfort. That's why LAERDAL women's waders are equipped with the vertically adjustable Elevator™ braces, which allow you to convert the chest waders into waist-high waders in seconds. This variability is extremely convenient, especially on warmer days or on longer walks to and from the water. The WAS™ (Waist Adjustable System) also contributes to a perfect fit. This involves two straps attached to the side of the waist that can be individually adjusted using Velcro and an elasticated band at the back, allowing you to adjust the waders perfectly without an additional belt. An adjustable wading belt is, of course, included with the waders anyway.

To offer you perfect protection from the elements even on cold and wet days, these women's waders are cut extra high above the chest area so that they form a reliable barrier from wind and rain, keeping you dry and warm. Moreover, there is also a hand warmer pocket lined with cosy fleece in the chest area, where you can quickly warm up cold hands.

The knee area of the waders has been ergonomically designed to provide you with plenty freedom of movement, even when you have to climb over large stones and other obstacles. In addition, the Comfort Plus™ neoprene socks are designed so that they are not bulky in the wading boot and thus protect you from blisters, pressure points and other discomfort when walking and wading.

FIRST-CLASS TECHNICAL FEATURES

However, the focus on comfort does not mean that any compromises have been made on the technical side. On the contrary, the waterproofness and breathability figures of these women’s’ waders are truly impressive. A combination of two different materials was deliberately selected for these waders. The lighter and more flexible fabric above the waist is 3-layered with a waterproofness of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 20,000 g/m2/24h. Below the waist, then again, a more durable 4-layer fabric with a waterproof rating of 30,000 mm and breathability of 7,000 g/m2/24h has been used. Of course, all DWR coatings used here are also PFAS-free.

EXCELLENTLY EQUIPPED

As you would expect from high-quality waders, the LAERDAL ladies' waders also have a whole range of practical and useful accessories. On the upper front there is a spacious chest pocket protected by a water-repellent zip and a large flap, which also holds a practical tool bar for attaching tools and other accessories.

There is a fold-out hanging pocket with a zip on the inside. Please note that both pockets are not completely waterproof, and you should therefore not store any sensitive items or devices such as mobile phones, car keys or similar items.

Despite all the high-quality materials and extensive features, the LAERDAL waders for women weigh just 880 grams (in size S). The upper section of the waders is kept in a subtle seaweed green, while the lower section is dominated by anthracite. The colour of these waders therefore perfectly matches the rest of the wading gear in the Laerdal range, a product line exclusively for fly fishing women, including the Laerdal wading boots.

The waders are supplied in a practical stuffbag.
