LAERDAL WOMEN'S WADING BOOT

A WADING BOOT ESPECIALLY FOR ALL FLY-FISHING WOMEN

The LAERDAL wading boot was developed by Guideline especially for fly-fishing women and thus perfectly complements the rest of the wading gear in the Laerdal series, such as the Laerdal waders, which were also developed exclusively for women. The name of this ladies-only line of products was not chosen at random, but is a tribute to all fly-fishing women, as the famous Norwegian river Laerdal is also known as the "queen of salmon rivers".

THE TECHNICAL FEATURES

The upper fabric consists mainly of a 6 210D nylon material, for the production of which partially recycled nylon was used. Guideline has also remained true to its sustainability philosophy with this product and only uses fluorocarbon-free DWR coatings. When developing this wading boot, particular attention was paid to lightness and a good fit, so that you won't tire too quickly even when walking long distances and spending long days on the water.

Thanks to the Vibram® Idrogrip™ rubber sole, the LAERDAL wading boot offers good grip and a secure hold on wet and slippery surfaces and is therefore ideal for wading. The stiffer midsole, moreover, increases the stability and sure-footedness of the wading boot, even in rough terrain. This midsole also ensures that the spikes grips securely if you want to retrofit them to your LAERDAL wading boot.

Closed-cell foam was used on the inside of the wading boot to minimise water absorption of the material when wading. This avoids unnecessary ballast, which increases comfort, especially on longer walks.

The particularly stressed areas around the toes and heel have been additionally reinforced with rubber caps, making them significantly sturdier and more hard-wearing, which is a particular advantage in difficult terrain and when wading. TPU reinforcements have also been printed on the lower part of the wading boot, which are highly resistant to sharp edges and pointed objects and thus offer you additional protection.
