With the WHIP FINISHER PRO from Hotfly you can create clean, precisely wound and filigree finishing knots on your artificial fly. The rotating handle allows you to wind the tying thread very quickly. Once you've tried it and got the hang of it, you won't want to use any other whip finishing tool.
The spring-loaded side arm keeps the fly-tying thread in the thread triangle always under tension, so that the thread cannot jump off the hook during tying. The flexibility of the side arm keeps the tension on the tying thread nice and even, even with different sized thread triangles. On the one hand, this allows you to tie a solid final knot with a lot of windings, as the side arm follows the shortening thread overhang. On the other hand, you can also tie a neat head knot on very small fly patterns by applying a little more tension and thus forming a smaller thread triangle.
The WHIP FINISHER PRO is made of high-quality steel. Its slim shape makes it very comfortable to hold.
