The FLYTEC BASE from Stonfo is a 360° rotary action fly-tying vise made of stainless steel, manufactured on precision machines. The smooth running is made possible by two ball bearings in the rotation housing of the shaft that carries the vise head.
Thanks to the adjustable drag, the vise head can either rotate completely freely or being locked in certain positions during a rotation. The head can be fixed at 0° and 180°. The enclosed centring gauge can be used to align the hook perfectly with the shaft. The hook is then fixed in place with the small crank wheel on the back of the vise head.
This fly-tying stick is height-adjustable due to the lengthy cylinder on the pedestal base. Of course, the FLYTEC BASE fly-tying vise can be extended with optional accessories from Stonfo, such as the waste bin, magnifying lens, etc. (not included in delivery).
