The tapered leader with loop connector COMFORT is a classic knotless tapered leader with a length of 365 cm, to the rear end of which a loop connector is attached. This innovative concept allows a quick and convenient change of leaders, simply by connecting the leader and fly line loops with the loop-to-loop method.
The knotless connection between the leader and fly line ensures that the joint between the two does not get caught on the tip ring of the rod when reeling in the fish. In fact, with the rod under tension during the fight, the knot has a much harder time getting over the tip ring than a loop-to-loop connection.
This practical tapered terminal is available in 6 different tip diameters from 0.10 mm (7X) to 0.20 mm (3x).
To connect the tippet to the leader you can make use of a perfection loop (see video), or you can tie on a microring, so you can change the tippet as many times as you want without ever having to shorten the leader.
