FURLED TAPERED LEADER CZECH NYMPH + MICRO RING – FLOATING

The furled, tapered CZECH NYMPH leader with Micro Ring is a floating furled leader made from high-quality monofilament and was specifically developed for Czech nymphing. This technique requires a direct, controlled presentation of heavy nymphs beneath the rod tip as well as precise depth control – and this leader is consistently designed to meet exactly those demands.

Thanks to its tapered construction, the leader transfers energy cleanly from the fly line to the tippet. Even multi-nymph rigs can be cast in a controlled manner without unnecessary tangles. The furled structure provides slight shock absorption, offering additional security during abrupt takes or sudden runs.

INTEGRATED SIGHTER FOR PRECISE STRIKE DETECTION

The front section is built as a high-visibility sighter section. The brightly colored material serves as an integrated visual indicator, allowing you to detect even the subtlest takes or directional changes instantly.

MICRO TIPPET RING FOR A CLEAN CONNECTION

A micro tippet ring is integrated at the end of the leader. It allows quick and tippet-friendly changes while preserving the overall length of the leader, since there is no need to cut back the tapered end directly.

Both ends are equipped with durable loops. The connection to the fly line is made easily via a loop-to-loop system. The tippet is attached to the micro ring. For nymph fishing, we recommend using fluorocarbon tippet material, as it sinks faster, offers high abrasion resistance, and remains especially discreet underwater.

For optimal control, it is advisable to choose a slightly longer tippet – depending on depth and current, up to approximately 30 % longer than the section of water being fished. Due to the slight shock-absorbing properties of the furled construction, a slightly finer tippet can often be used without compromising reliability.
