SINK GEL PRO

EVEN FASTER TO THE BOTTOM

Whether for classic fly fishing with a wet fly and nymph or modern Euronymphing, the faster your nymphs sink to the bottom, the longer they float in the "hot zone" and the more effective and successful your fishing will be.

With the SINK GEL PRO from hotfly, a high-quality product manufactured in France, you can degrease your flies, but also your leader and tippet, so that they sink into the water even more easily and reach the bottom of the water more quickly. Of course, you don't deliberately grease your flies and leader when nymph fishing but when mounting your rig and attaching your fly, sun cream, sweat and other substances on your fingers will inevitably come on the fly and line and will prevent them from sinking efficiently. SINK GEL PRO helps you to remove this greasy film in no time at all. Simply take a drop of this product on your index finger and thumb and work it into the fly or pull the leader and tippet through your fingers.

When fly fishing with a dry fly, many fly fishermen also degrease the last few centimetres of the tippet so that it sinks in slightly and is less visible than if it remains on the surface of the water, where it glistens in the sun and can cast telltale shadows. Especially with very clear water and in situations where the fish have enough time to look at the fly, they are very often scared off at the last moment by a visible tippet. You should be careful not to touch the rest of the leader or the dry fly itself with the SINK GEL PRO on your fingers, which should continue to float reliably on the surface.
