GUIDELINE EXPERIENCE VEST

VERSATILE, SOPHISTICATED AND LIGHTWEIGHT FLY-FISHING VEST

The Guideline EXPERIENCE VEST offers you everything you need for your fly-fishing adventures – and in a compact, lightweight and smart design. It combines high functionality with maximum freedom of movement, making it ideal for anglers who value practical details and optimal comfort. Whether you are a minimalist or prefer to have a few extra fly boxes with you ‘just in case’, this vest can be flexibly adapted to your needs.

ROBUST, COMFORTABLE AND ADAPTABLE

The EXPERIENCE VEST is modularly constructed, made from durable 210D Oxford nylon, and consists of two front panels, that can be detached from the back panel made of airy mesh fabric. This makes it extremely versatile, for example, by simply attaching both front panels directly to the shoulder straps of your Guideline backpack using the clips. You can also comfortably wear this vest in addition to a backpack. The shoulder area of this vest is shaped so that there is still enough space for the shoulder straps of a backpack. The shoulder area of the vest itself is comfortably padded and therefore does not cut in, even when you have loaded the vest properly. With numerous adjustment options, the ergonomically cut vest can be perfectly adapted to your body shape and fits well. The clean outer also ensures that nothing can get tangled. In addition to a magnetic buckle on elastic straps at the front, the two front parts of the vest can also be connected with a YKK zip for a closer fit.

NUMEROUS POCKETS AND ATTACHMENT OPTIONS

The two front panels are identical except for the Velcro patch and have each a large vertical zip pocket that can be opened over the entire length from both the top and bottom. Inside, you'll find individually adjustable dividers with Velcro, allowing you to perfectly customise this large pocket to your needs. Thanks to these dividers, your equipment also stays securely stored and well organised in the pocket without slipping at the bottom. This way, for example, the upper fly boxes stay in place even when you remove the lower ones.

Two elastic mesh pockets are placed on top of these large front pockets, with the rear pocket being closed with Velcro. You will find elastic loops and webbing straps for attaching accessories on left and left and right of the central zip. On the inside of the two front panels, you will find two further mesh pockets, one with a vertical zip and one with a horizontal zip.

The tool garages on both sides are also very cleverly designed. A flap with a zip ensures that nothing dangles around, gets caught or gets lost, while still being ready to hand at all times. Inside, you will find numerous attachment options such as elastic loops, webbing straps and a removable retractor that can be attached in two different positions. Since this feature is also available in both front parts, you can also attach both retractors to one side of your vest.

The large mesh pocket on the back of this vest has a horizontal zip across the entire width and can expand as needed due to the integrated folds, so that even larger items such as your wading jacket can be easily accommodated. A hydration system has also been considered, and so the back pocket has an opening directly under the central D-ring for attaching the wading net, through which you can also feed the tube of standard hydration systems (not included) even when the zip is closed. There are also matching fabric loops at the upper corners of both front panels to guide and attach the tube.

THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING

The developers really have thought of everything with the EXPERIENCE VEST. And therefore the 515-gram lightweight vest not only has a variety of practical features but was also manufactured sustainably. Some of the materials are recycled and bluesign® certified, and the water-repellent coating (DWR) is completely free of PFAS.
