VISION TROUT HERO² – THE SECOND GENERATION OF A POPULAR TROUT ROD SERIES

With the TROUT HERO², Vision consistently continues one of its most successful rod series. The second generation of the Hero family remains true to its original concept: high-performance fly rods designed for their specific purpose – affordable, reliable and with an action that truly performs on the water.

The TROUT HERO² is aimed at fly fishers looking for a modern trout rod with clean feedback, balanced power distribution and excellent everyday usability. From ambitious beginners to experienced fly anglers, this series convinces with well-balanced characteristics and models suited to a wide range of fishing situations and waters.

THOUGHTFUL BLANK DESIGN, PRACTICAL COMPONENTS

All models in the TROUT HERO² series are built on a 36T carbon blank. This carbon rating represents a well-balanced combination of speed, stability and feel. The medium-fast action provides sufficient recovery speed for controlled line handling and stable loops, while remaining pleasant to fish and allowing precise presentations and clean casts, even under demanding conditions.

The unsanded grey blank underlines the functional character of the rods while reducing unnecessary weight. The setup is completed by lightweight single leg running guides, high-quality cork grips shaped according to each model’s intended use, and an uplocking reel seat. The four-piece construction ensures compact transport dimensions, making the TROUT HERO² an ideal companion for travel and regular use.

VISION TROUT HERO² 9'3" #3

The TROUT HERO² 9'3" #3 is the most sensitive model in the series. The additional length improves line control, while the lighter line class allows precise presentations with fine leaders. Equipped with a Half Wells grip, it sits comfortably in hand and is ideal for small to medium-sized waters, wary trout and delicate dry fly or light nymph fishing.

VISION TROUT HERO² 9' #4

The 9' #4 is designed for fly fishers who enjoy classic trout fishing. This model excels in delicate fly fishing where presentation and fly control are essential. Perfect for dry fly fishing, it also handles moderately weighted nymphs comfortably and offers excellent balance thanks to the Half Wells grip. Casting and fishing this rod is pure pleasure.

VISION TROUT HERO² 9' #5

The 9' #5 positions the TROUT HERO² as a universal all-round rod for river and lake. It delivers enough power for larger flies, longer casts and windy conditions, while remaining controlled and comfortable to fish thanks to the Half Wells grip. A great choice for anglers seeking one rod for many situations.

VISION TROUT HERO² 9'3" #6

The 9'3" #6 is aimed at fly fishers who regularly fish with weighted nymphs or streamers or target stronger fish. The Full Wells grip with fighting butt provides additional control when casting and during the fight, making this model especially versatile for larger waters.

VISION TROUT HERO² 9'6" #7

The most powerful model in the series, also equipped with a Full Wells grip and fighting butt. The TROUT HERO² 9'6" #7 offers excellent reach, high line control and ample reserves for heavy flies. Ideal for large rivers, stillwaters or situations where real pulling power is required.

CONCLUSION

The TROUT HERO² series stands for honest performance, clean action and thoughtful design. Vision delivers fly rods that perform on the water – reliable, well balanced and offering an excellent price-performance ratio.
