LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER

PRECISION AND DISTANCE – THE NEW GENERATION LAKEMASTER

Stillwater fly fishing has been experiencing a real boom for years – especially at ponds, lakes and reservoirs on the European mainland. The LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER by Hotfly Superb was developed specifically for this discipline and is the worthy successor to the proven previous version. With its perfect balance of performance, lightness and high‑quality equipment, this rod is aimed at discerning fly anglers who value precision and longevity – whether you use it at the lake or the fishing pond.

BUILT FOR MODERN STILLWATER TECHNIQUES

With a length of 10 ft (305 cm), the LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER offers ideal leverage for powerful casts and stable presentations at long range. It is designed for line classes #7/#8 and thus pairs excellently with modern fly lines designed especially for Stillwater fishing – whether intermediate, sink‑tip or full sinking lines. This means you not only reach distant spots but also deliver your fly in a controlled and precise way to the fish.

The fast, progressive action of this rod is ideal for long overhead casts when there’s plenty of space behind you. Equally, it is excellent for roll and switch casts—where the line remains anchored in the water—especially helpful when shore space is tight or vegetation dense behind you. The Froller, a very specific casting style for fly fishing on still waters, benefits in particular from the thoughtful rod action and enables impressive casting distances even with limited room.

POWERFUL AND LIGHTWEIGHT

Despite its robust design, the LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER remains surprisingly lightweight in the hand at just 105 g. The matte‑black blank is manufactured from state‑of‑the‑art carbon‑fibre materials that guarantee maximum recovery speed with minimum weight. The low weight really pays off during long fishing days when you make a lot of casts and fatigue‑free handling is crucial.

The understated look in an elegant matt finish underlines not only the rod’s technical orientation but also avoids unwanted light reflections – an often‑underrated advantage when fishing for wary fish in clear water.

TOP EQUIPMENT FOR HIGHEST DEMANDS

The LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER convinces not only with its powerful blank but also with an entirely high‑quality equipment package. The ergonomically shaped Full Wells handle consists of AAA‑grade Portuguese natural cork and ensures comfortable and secure handling. At both ends of the handle rubberised cork end‑caps protect against wear – particularly practical with frequent use and when resting the rod on hard surfaces.

The uplock reel seat made of aluminium is not only strong but also a visual highlight: large cut‑outs provide a view of the carbon‑fibre spacer. The fixed mounted fighting butt made of cork offers additional leverage during the fight and thanks to the metal end‑cap allows you to safely rest the rod without damaging the material. Equipped with robust stipping guides and single leg running guides, the finely crafted guide windings underline the high manufacturing quality, while an integrated hook‑keeper ensures your fly is safely secured during line changes or transport.

Practical alignment markers at the ferrule joints make it easy for you to quickly and precisely assemble the four rod sections – a small detail that saves a lot of time in practice.

PRACTICAL ROD TRANSPORT TUBE INCLUDED

Hotfly Superb has also thought of the accessories: The LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER comes in a robust rod tube with four separate inner compartments. This means each rod section is optimally protected and quickly accessible. A padded lid with zipper, an easy‑to‑grip carry handle and a removable, length‑adjustable shoulder strap make transport comfortable. The lower part of the rod tube is coated with a durable plastic that even contact with wet or muddy ground cannot damage.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE AND 3‑YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

Hotfly Superb stands fully behind the quality of the LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER. That’s why you get: 100 % satisfaction or your money back – within 30 days of purchase. Additionally the manufacturer grants a 36‑month guarantee for all manufacturing and processing defects. That creates trust and gives you maximum security when selecting your next stillwater fly rod.

Whether you’re an ambitious beginner or an experienced expert – with the LITECRAFT LAKEMASTER you hold a tool in your hands that is precisely adapted to the demands of modern stillwater fly fishing – high‑performing, precise, durable and absolutely fair in price.
