CLASSIC TROUT WF SINK 7 FLY LINE

The Guideline CLASSIC TROUT WF Sink 7 is a well-balanced, very fast-sinking all-round fly line developed for targeted fishing in great depths. It is the right choice when trout are holding deep and maximum sink performance is required.

This line brings streamers and heavy flies very quickly into deep water layers and keeps them stable at depth – ideal for deep lakes, large rivers with strong current, and deep areas along the coast when it is crucial to reach the strike zone quickly and efficiently.

A TRUE ALL-ROUNDER FOR TROUT FISHING

The Classic Trout WF Sink 7 was developed as a universal trout fly line for targeting deep water layers. Despite its high sink rate, it remains well controlled and comfortable to cast.

It is particularly well suited for short, effective drift windows, deeper channels and heavily flowing sections where slower sink rates are no longer sufficient.

THE “PERFECT COMPROMISE”

Guideline describes the CLASSIC TROUT as the perfect compromise – and even in the Sink 7 version, the line combines high depth performance with control and user-friendly handling.

The 6% low-stretch core significantly improves sensitivity and helps reliably detect even deep, subtle takes. A uniform color and density throughout the head and running line ensure a calm, stable casting feel. Practical details include factory loops on both ends and an ID marking on the front loop.

UNIVERSAL WF TAPER FOR CLEAN PRESENTATIONS

The taper of the CLASSIC TROUT WF Sink 7 is deliberately designed to cover a very wide range of applications: a relatively short 2 m front taper ensures efficient energy transfer and quick rod loading at shorter distances. The approximately 6 m belly provides enough mass to turn over larger flies cleanly, while the roughly 4 m back taper delivers stable loops, good control and smooth power transfer throughout the casting stroke. The result is a highly versatile WF profile that performs reliably in most situations.
