The cortland 444 BIG SHOT-WF is designed for streamer fishing on freshwater predators. Thanks to its very aggressive profile it is not afraid of the wind and you will be able to make long and precise casts in any condition. Its special coating makes it slide very smoothly through the guides of the rod, making long casts much easier. This fly line is designed to cast even very heavy streamers over long distances, obviously a bit of experience is required.
The WF (weight forward) profile has a greater thickness at the end of the line, and being even heavier it allows the fly line to reach long distances with extreme ease. The 444 BIG SHOT-WF takes this feature even more extreme than a classic WF, which allows it to load the rod much better allowing you to minimize false casts, perfect if you have limited space behind you to extend your line. The buoyancy of this fly line is excellent, and as with all cortland products the highest quality materials have been used. On the front you'll find a loop that will make it easier to connect to the fishing leader.
