STROFT TIPPET RINGS

MAXIMUM STRENGTH AND HIGHEST QUALITY

STROFT TIPPET RINGS are a clever solution for all fly fishers who want to design their leader rigs flexibly and extend the lifespan of their leaders. By using these high-quality rings, you can quickly and easily replace the tip of your leader without having to repeatedly shorten the leader line. This saves material, maintains the perfect unrolling properties of your leader and allows you to use your leader for longer.

HIGH-QUALITY MATERIAL FOR RELIABLE PERFORMANCE

The STROFT TIPPET RINGS are made of a special, corrosion-resistant metal alloy that is refined in an elaborate drum polishing process. This treatment ensures an absolutely smooth surface so that your leader material is not damaged even under the highest loads. In addition, the rings undergo an electrolytic treatment that gives them a greyish-black, non-reflective shimmer. This significantly minimises the annoying reflection of sunlight on the tippet rings – a decisive advantage, especially in clear water and when fishing for shy fish.

A special feature of these robust leader rings is their impressive load capacity. When used with the appropriate knots, these leader rings enable the knot load capacity of the lines used to be maintained up to 100%. This makes them an extremely reliable choice for all fly-fishing applications.

They are so light that you can use them for dry fly fishing without any problems, because they do not affect the properties of your leader. Of course, they are also excellent for nymph or streamer fishing, as they have no undesirable effects on sinking behaviour.

In our shop, you will find the STROFT TIPPET RINGS in a range of different sizes, with diameters, material thicknesses and maximum load capacities optimally matched to the intended use. This way, you will find the right tippet rings for everything from fine dry fly fishing to fly fishing for the strongest predators in both fresh and salt water.

EASY TO USE AND CONVENIENT PACKAGING

The STROFT TIPPET RINGS are very easy to use: with a simple knot – for example the improved clinch knot – you can attach your tippet quickly and securely. Each pack contains ten tippet rings attached to a safety pin. This means you will always have them to hand without them getting lost in your pocket or fly vest. The packaging insert also contains rigging instructions, knot diagrams and a load capacity table.
