STROFT FC2 – FLUOROCARBON FOR PREDATOR LEADERS

RELIABLE PROTECTION AND INVISIBLE PRESENTATION

For demanding predator anglers who want to play it safe, STROFT FC2 is the perfect choice. This premium fluorocarbon, made from 100% pure PVDF, impresses with excellent abrasion resistance, high linear tensile strength and outstanding durability—qualities that are indispensable when targeting powerful predators like pike, zander, or catfish. Especially the thicker diameters of STROFT FC2 are ideal for crafting robust predator leaders that can withstand even the sharp teeth of big pike.

ADVANTAGES IN CLEAR WATER AND PRESSURED WATERS

In heavily fished waters or clear conditions, big predators often become wary of conventional steel leaders. Here, STROFT FC2 offers a decisive advantage: Thanks to its crystal-clear transparency, it remains virtually invisible underwater, allowing for a subtle presentation of your lure—ideal for fooling suspicious pike or trophy zander. Additionally, the higher density of fluorocarbon ensures that your leader sinks quickly, getting your lure efficiently into the strike zone.

EXTREME ABRASION RESISTANCE AND HIGH KNOT STRENGTH

When fishing in snaggy areas like weed beds, lily fields, or sunken timber, STROFT FC2 shines with its impressive abrasion resistance. You can stay confident during tough fights knowing that your leader won’t break. Moreover, this material ensures excellent knot strength, providing reliable and secure connections even under extreme stress.

PRECISE LURE CONTROL AND DIRECT BITE DETECTION

The minimal stretch of STROFT FC2 offers superb feedback: You feel every nibble and the slightest movement of your lure instantly, enabling quick and decisive reactions—an essential advantage, especially with shy bites.

IDEAL FOR VARIOUS PREDATOR FISHING TECHNIQUES

No matter which predator you are targeting on the fly or spinning rod — the strong diameters of STROFT FC2 provide the resilience needed for any challenge. At the same time, the material remains flexible enough to ensure a natural lure presentation.
