FLOAT DRY POWDER PRO from hotfly is a special powder with strong hygroscopic properties. This makes it ideal for removing water from your flies and restoring their natural buoyancy.
The application is very easy. Simply place the fly, which can still hang on the leader without any problems, in the container, close the lid carefully and shake the container for a few seconds. The opening of the container is generously sized so that you can easily place larger patterns in the container to dry.
The best way to remove excess powder is to blow on the dried fly or make a few false casts. With our special floatants such as Float Gel Pro, Float Spray Pro or Float Shield Powder, you can additionally impregnate the dried fly to further increase its buoyancy and maintain it for longer.
FLOAT DRY POWDER PRO is also ideal for thoroughly drying delicate CDC flies, as it effectively removes the water without damaging the fine and delicate structures of the CDC feathers that make these flies so catchy.
