SPECTRA DUBBING DISPENSER DARK

SYNTHETIC DUBBING WITH INTENSE COLOURS AND LIGHT REFLECTIONS

The SPECTRA DUBBING DISPENSER DARK from Hotfly contains 12 medium and dark shades of highly colourful synthetic dubbing. The shiny fibres reflect incoming light, creating vibrant, shimmering colour effects. Just a few fibres are enough to add attractive highlights to your fly patterns.

SPECTRA DUBBING can be used on its own or combined with other materials. Used alone, it creates brightly shimmering fly bodies. By blending a small amount with natural or other synthetic dubbings, you can add subtle light reflections without significantly changing the original appearance of the blend. This allows you to control the intensity of the shimmer.

FOR DRY FLIES, EMERGERS, NYMPHS AND STREAMERS

This versatile dubbing is suitable for tying bodies and thoraxes on a wide variety of fly patterns. With a little dubbing wax, you can secure the fibres to the tying thread and twist them into a compact dubbing noodle. This allows you to create slim, evenly shaped bodies as well as fuller thoraxes.

After winding the dubbing onto the hook, you can gently brush it out with a dubbing brush or a piece of Velcro. This draws individual fibres out of the wraps, creating a loose, slightly mobile texture. Particularly on nymphs and streamers, this adds volume and makes the intense light reflections more noticeable.

12 COLOURS IN A PRACTICAL DUBBING DISPENSER

The dispenser contains 12 separate compartments, each holding 1 g of dubbing, giving you a total of 12 g of material. This is equivalent to twelve individual 1 g dubbing packets.

The organised storage system makes it easy to select and combine different shades. You can take the material directly from each compartment and always have a versatile colour selection at hand. The dispenser also offers excellent value for money compared to buying each colour separately.
