The CONICAL KNOT FINISHER SET ELITE from Stonfo is a real help when tying small flies with a large amount of tying material in the head area, such as hackles, wings or sighting aids, to finish off the fly with a neat head knot. When the head of this knot tyer is attached to the fly, the protruding material is held backwards so that the head knot in the form of a half hitch closes the fly securely and neatly at the eye of the hook. The conical shape of the head allows the wraps of tying thread to slide effortlessly onto the hook and be easily tightened into a knot. With fly patterns such as small sedges, it may even be intentional to use this knot tyer to align the fibres backwards and form a small head area at the front.
The CONICAL KNOT FINISHER SET ELITE is made of stainless steel and has three interchangeable heads of different inner diameters (Ø 1,4 -2,0 -2,7 mm), suitable for different hook sizes. Instruction manual is included with this knot tyer.
