The name STREAMER on the large-dimensioned bobbin holder from stonfo already reveals its ideal area of application, as it was specially developed for tying large flies and streamers. It is made entirely of stainless steel and impresses with its very robust and ergonomic design. The considerable weight of the bobbin holder of 42 grams ensures that the tying thread is kept under tension very well, even if the bobbin holder only hangs down on your fly pattern during tying. This means that the materials already tied in remain perfectly in place while you prepare new materials for tying in.
The wide and flattened base of the thread guide makes the bobbin holder very easy to hold and guide. The pass-through shaft ensures that the tying thread bobbin runs stably, while the adjustment knobs on both sides allow the thread tension to be set individually and perfectly. The diameter of the thread guide was deliberately chosen to be larger so that you can also use floss binding threads, micro chenilles and similar binding materials with this bobbin holder. The outlet opening is made of hardened steel, which is extremely wear-resistant and therefore also whitstands to modern tying threads. The material is also impact-resistant and therefore remains undamaged if the bobbin holder accidentally slips out of your hand. It is also perfectly balanced, making it ideal for twisting dubbing.
