This wading staff produced by hotfly is 142 cm long and is made entirely of aluminum, which allows you to carry with you an object with a very low weight (349g) but at the same time very robust, allowing you to wade the stream safely and easily even in places where a slippery bottom or the strong current.
The wading staff of hotfly is really easy to carry because in addition to the low weight is easily foldable in 4 sections and you can keep it always at hand thanks to the practical neoprene case that is provided. Simply attach it to the belt of the waders with the special buttonhole and you won't even notice you're wearing it.
Once removed from its sheath the staff opens and locks securely with a simple gesture and in less than 3 seconds it will be ready for use. When you no longer need it, you can close it with a simple gesture. It will be secured to the sheath with a 50 cm long lenyard so that you can concentrate on fishing and then take it back later.
hotfly's wading staff has been tested on the river by making not easy fords and has proven to be a product, robust and safe, thanks to the non-slip handle and wrist strap that allow us to grip even in difficult conditions.
Hotfly also provides us with three different tips for this staff, the first is made of tungsten and allows you to have a good grip on the stones during the wading, especially if they are covered with algae. The second tip is made of plastic and is more suitable for hard ground, perhaps if you are facing a ground disconnected in the forest. The third point has a wide circular surface and allows you not to sink the staff on muddy ground.
